The first Reunion of the descendants of Wm. C. Coe was held at the Coe Homestead, Durham, Ct. September 1896. At the close of the dinner hour a business meeting was held at which it was voted to make the Reunion an annual permanent organization.
The following officers were elected:
President: H. W. Coe
Vice President: Henry Page
Secretary: F. H. Page
Historian: Wm. T. Coe
Poetess: Miss G. Edna Coe
Executive Committee, all the grandsons.
It was voted to hold our next Reunion at the same place on the last Thursday in August 1897.
