The third annual Reunion of the William C. Coe family was held at the Coe Homestead, Durham, Ct. August 25, 1898. There were forty four members present. A dinner to delight the heart of an epicure had been prepared by the ladies and was served at one o’clock. The tables was set under the magnificent maples fronting the old homestead. Benjamin F. Page of Durham officiated as toastmaster and called for the following toasts.

The Old Homestead, W. T. Coe of Durham. At the close of W. T. Coe’s speech Home Sweet Home was sung by a quartette.

The Historian H. T. Coe then gave a very pleasing address.
