Five Days in November, a remembrance

for Sydney written by her Father

Our little angle was born in Manchester Connecticut at the Manchester Memorial Hospital.

She entered this world smiling on Friday, November 10th 2000

She had a normal and healthy birth, but unknown to everyone, she had a genetic heart defect called Hypoplastic left heart.  This basically meant that the left side of her heart had never developed correctly.  The cruelest part of this defect was that we were only able to discover this defect after about four days.

It was a devastating tragedy that we lost our daughter after four days, but we have learned that there is nothing in life that is to be taken for granted!

Life is TOO short to worry about the little things!

Our daughter, Sydney, is now with God watching over us.

Of course we would rather have her with us, but there is some solace to us that our daughter is in a better place than we will ever be.  Sydney, I hope that I can live my life so that you can look down on me with love, hope and honor.

We will always love you Sydney, and even though five days in November will never be enough for us, I pray that our lives will be enough for you.

Take care my little angel, God speed.
